The Smart City Concepts Consortium
Good smart city solutions require comprehensive expertise and an integrative approach so that the varied aspects involved can be dealt with in the possible/preferred context in each case.
The Smart City Concepts Consortium is focused on environmentally-friendly, intelligent urban development. All our current emphasis is on smart mobility, as this significantly improves quality of life in towns and urban spaces. Our concept for doing so goes far beyond the previous separate solutions and enables the smart city approach to be met for the first time. This requires the merging of technology, construction, IT and an attractive interface for citizens. That is why we have set up a network of experts who ensure that the desired smart city goal is achieved. We provide comprehensive support/guidance, from investigation to planning and implementation.
supports customers completely
We plan infrastructure and mobility concepts, and put the right technical solution together with the right tools in order to manage the usually wide-ranging IT interfaces of the the existing players.
Construction and conversion, app technology, sensor technology, video technology, data management and multi-platform compatibility are non-visible components of the solution. In addition, attractive, cost-conscious, architectural solutions with smart mobility building measures guarantee the (visual) future orientation of the city. Environmental sustainability is the foremost priority for the overall solution. For example, our intermodal interface can be very easily adapted as traffic flows change.
To do this, we analyse/verify the specific requirement profile if desired, bring together the stakeholders, take care of the financing, manage and support progress via comprehensive project management, and monitor the results. Hence success can be measured, learning effects exploited and development options practically calculated. We deliver measurable added value!
New solutions for innovative use of (public) areas are necessary to achieve a better quality of life. Securing the most suitable interface between private and public transport plays an important role here.
This enables emissions in urban spaces to be significantly reduced and the attractiveness of inner cities and suburbs to be massively increased. It also improves mobility - a requirement that plays a significant role as life expectancy increases. At the same time the requirements that stem from increasing population figures and a growing number of vehicles can be channelled with our smart mobility approach, so that environmental friendliness and flexibility are no longer in conflict with individuality. This keeps conurbations/towns attractive and, in the truest sense, makes them SMART.
Result of our smart city concept
Our new build solutions are as sustainable as possible, as they are easy to remove. Properties are distinguished by their multiple usage and in this way combine state of the art solutions in a way not seen before.
In this intelligent environment, many services and functions not previously integrated are interwoven - and can be used to digitally control a city. The solution is a technological milestone that enables city authorities to do things such as issue permits or set up warning signs in a targeted manner, etc. Our work is well-founded and thorough: leveraging and evaluating mobility data, observing traffic flows and bottlenecks in the city, scenarios for changing traffic flows and energy management optimisation all ensure that we develop future-orientated solutions. Solution orientation characterises our work.
Smart City Concepts Conference
Save the date for our next Smart City-Conference:
February 2021, Maastricht
Our Smart City-Conference took place in Sopron/Hungary September 2018. The concept with international keynotes, inter-disciplinary speakers and latest developments around SMART CITIES started with full success. Developing such a conference is a further milestone of our start up-activities.
The international participants and speakers from different industry branches and universities enjoyed the interactive conference format and could take some important knowledge back home. Beside that, our conference offered enough space for personal exchange between the participants and speakers. From now on, the conference will be organized every two years as a biennale conference with changing locations.
We cought some impressions of our first conference on following pictures:
